Quartz Tubes can be translucent or milky white. These quartz tubes can endure temperatures as high as 1100 degrees Celsius. The most crucial thing to remember is that Quartz Tubes can tolerate extremely severe thermal shock (1000 degree centigrade to room temperature).

The clear quartz tube is made from several raw materials, including natural and synthetic quartz sand. These are very resistant to thermal shock because of their exceptionally low coefficient of thermal expansion and great electrical strength, which provides stability under temperature change.
